THE Kenya Football Federation (KFF) Cup has been launched. It will replace the President?s Cup tournament that had been used by the federation to nominate teams to take part in the confederations cup tournament. "The name KFF Cup is in line with many cup tournaments which are named after the parent football association," said KFF secretary general Sammy Obingo. more

The Kenya Football Federation Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on March 29 at the federation's goal project in Kasarani. The meeting is expected to ratify some of the new ammendements to the KFF constitution in the previously planned review Two senior FIFA officials are expected to supervise the AGM, including FIFA Regional Development Officer, Ashford Mamelodi. The agenda and logistical processes of the AGM are said to be part of the reason why KFF Secretary General Sammy Obingo was summoned to Zurich by the World Governing Body. Part of the processes within the FIFA roadmap had been postponed twice within the last five-months in light of the National General Elections and subsequent post-poll violence witnessed thereafter. |

KFF has made it unlawful for one entity to sponsor more than one team in the same league. KFF Secretary General Sammy Obingo said the order is in line with KFF Article 53.4 which reads "No Commercial Enterprise, private person or other legal entity shall own or have a controlling interest in more than one member club playing in the same league." more
